Morbus

In Morbus there's some medieval mayhem afoot. The game is a role player, and you're able to choose to play either a warrior, a traitor, a jester (this was the quite obvious choice for me) or an alchemist. Personally I found all the key controls a bit tricky, and I was liable to get them wrong in tight situations, I like a bit of mouse control, but curiously I found myself liking the lute and flute soundtrack - lets rock! I also found myself shouting "I'm going to get medieval on your ass" at the screen a lot, but I don't think I've come down off my fruit-sugar rush yet, which explains that one [subbed by Nick G].

Whoa wait, did the game bug up?
Possibly spoiler, although the twist was of course, blindingly obvious:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

1. Golgoth killed me, I respawned and went back to kill him,
2. I sped through this red beam and killed the 3 devils, btu he wasn't there
3. I got stuck between the impassable red beam and some invisible boundary
4. I pressed enter/return and automatically DIED.

So, in short, when you're stuck, ENTER/RETURN button appears to be autokill. wow what

Yeah, I guess the game bugged up, I am seriously unable to do anything. I even went to that place on foot instead of by teleport stone.

... That book.. you know, the one on top of the bloody hill?
It's pretty scary. :{
I wanted to try opening it again while I was walking back to that place where it bugged, but I decided against it.

turn the other direction and use the power, then flip back to how you were. that worked for me.

oh, and what's up with jesper the fat and the damn food. what do you do with that???

not sure if this is a bug, but...

i killed myself by pressing enter and respawned (spend 11 gold on reanimation?! psssshhh, plz). a few seconds later, half the screen turns into the cave/tree scene and i'm standing in front of the chest. what's up with that?? it's like i can't get to chest. i'm thinking there's some kind of a tool we need to buy to get to it??

anyway, i keep killing myself and respawning to try different things, and every damn time it brings me into the tree cave.

i thought it was kinda cool, until.....
*my alchemist started firing his magic to the left only
*i flew 1000 meters in the air and couldnt get down when i exited a cave
*pressed enter and suicided :(

Here is a tip for when you come out of the cave and you are in the air.

Press the jump button ( up arrow key) and in about less than a minute you land back on the ground.

Well I came back and finish the game. Here are my tips.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Use theTraitor.
Collect the club only.
DOn't forget to uses the arrow keys and A, S, D, F, g keys.
Every Time you go up a level, press G and increase HP by 1 and Strength by 1.
Don't give anyone any money especially the prisioner who stole the bread. His secret is below.
Kill all monster.
Take the task to protect the guy, all the way to the first town.
Become Guardian. If you kill all monsters and help the guy to town, you will have enough money.
Kill all monster again even if you have to spawn alot.
When you reach 110 coins, go back to the town in the swamp to the guy that have the asx on his shoulder. Sell the club to him and buy the weapon that does 5 damage that cost 130 coins (The one which look like a needle ball on a stick I Think.)
Fight all the way to the end of the game.
Get the book.
Walk back to the swamp town where you will see the guy how give you the task.
But The real secret is to kill one monster at the time. If you want to run, please run back from where you came from.

The prisoner secret. Don't give him ten coin. But if you do, he will just say what I have here. Waste of good money. Up to you.

He speak of the tree that is a cave. A tree that have a big triangle hole in it trunk. He also meantion that in the cave there is a secret from with a chest that is hiding on the wall. Either by press A or down arrow key will help.

Funny thing about this game, at the end when you return the book, the guy ask if you want to go on another adventure and then the game stick saying something about an error with my flash 9. But no way am I going to play that game all over again. AND I MEAN IT THIS TIME. :)

I picked traitor. However, I think it's a lot wiser to get the shield, the shield = invincibility except from those thunderbolt spells that you can easily run away from.

To easily beat the game:
-pick traitor
-talk to guy who gives u choice of items in beginning
-pick the helm and knife
-do quest for guy and save all money( until u reach swamp)
-DO NOT join obscure guardians (sort of a waste of money)
-only hard monster in swamp: the ong;kill him by outsmarting him ( hmmmm....i wonder how..)
-when u reach golgoth: thats the twist (obviously).Let him kill u first time
-then kill the demon goblin things one at a time(if ur good enough, maybe 2)
-he'll dissapear (kill urself at that point. u kill urself by pressing enter)
-go back and hell be there: now its 1 on 1
There u have it.

I didn't think the ong in the swamp was too hard, here's how I beat it:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Get the mace that does 5 damage
Before fighting tap s to put up a shield
Right after the ong attacks press a to attack
Then tap s again to put up your shield
Repeat if not dead.
