Christmas Decorations

You would have thought that just after Christmas the decorating madness would have ended, but there's a little more to point'n'click your way through in Christmas Decorations, a game containing more than a little madness of it's own from the great Renegade. Careful of the advertising pop-ups though , if you just get advertising and no obvious game just try clicking through again [subbed by Shiny, JhInG, winniethepooh & chocletadict].

Bomb

Bomb

More point'n'click insanity from Renegade in Bomb. When I say insanity I don't mean the game, although it's not hard to argue it's a little unbalanced, but I mean you, once you've been to point'n'click hell and back trying to solve it. Enjoy [subbed by Heather, Gerri, Ree, Helanren & winniethepooh]

Leaving Your Road

Use your trusty point'n'click skills to try and get back inside your house in Leaving Your Road. This is the latest game from Renegade author of the Leaving Your Room series [subbed by Nicop].

The Search For The Bees

I must be dreaming. The Search For The Bees is the latest point'n'click game from Renegade, of Leaving Your Room infamy, and there's not 100 keys to find, in fact there's not even one key to find. Lot's of bees though... [subbed by Renegade & Ducky632] .

Escape the Roomba

From Renegade, creator of the Leaving Your Room series comes a new point'n'click game, "Escape the Roomba". The idea of the game is to find and destroy the Roomba (those little robotic room cleaners), rather than finding keys, although there is one key to find for those of you who like that kind of thing [subbed & created by Renegade].

Site News : Games Ratings

As you may have seen by now I've added a basic ratings system for games (check the rating link at the bottom of each game) which is based on your votes. I've tried to keep it simple with voting on each game restricted to 3 choices: you just say whether you love it, hate it, or if you're somewhere inbetween. The game's rating is then based on a weighted calculation from all the votes cast.

I'm hoping this is useful and "works", it's been suggested to me quite a few times in the past, and I believe I have the mechanics of it working, however whichever way I figure it in my head the ultimate success of the feature is really down to how/if people use it. So I'd be very grateful if you'd get voting, especially where you feel particularly strongly about the brilliance, or lack thereof, of a game.

Eventually (soon I hope, if enough votes are collected) I'll use the votes cast as the basis for a top 10 games feature so we can see the "ultimate Lazylaces games collection", and to this end you may like to hunt back through the archives for your favourite, older, games and get voting on them, as well as the newly posted ones. Use the search facility (in the top right of every page) to find "your game", or use the comment thread on this post to suggest games for other Lazylacers to check-out and get voting on. In the meantime I have a few suggestions of my own that spring to mind:

Happy voting everyone :)

TSOTFKITOO

The point'n'click key hunting adventures continue in TSOTFKITOO, aka The Story of the Freaky Kid in the Orange Outfit, aka Tweety, aka Leaving Your Room 4 (the latest episode in the Leaving Your Room series) which possibly has more alternate names than it does keys to find. Or maybe not. You'll probably recognise some of the backgrounds from previous adventures, but the objects have changed, and this time there is an inventory to play with as well as the keys [subbed and created by Renegade].

Keys, Keys, Keys (aka Leaving Your Room 3)

Keys, Keys, Keys is the latest episode in the Leaving Your Room series, which I believe started the "escape the room using point'n'click to find multiple keys" genre that seems to have now developed. It's the first I remember playing anyway, but then again my memory is notoriously bad. Anyway this episode features only one room to investigate, but there are 20 keys to find. I have 13 so far and it's getting tricky now, although I have seen Darth, Bugs, a Dragon & an elephant, which you don't get in every game. My one top tip is for anti-cheaters; you will have to try to cheat at least once to complete this game! Oh - and for everyone else remember to try dragging, not just point'n'clicking [subbed & created by Renegade].

UPDATE: I also forgot to say that the advice on the game page is excellent and works; if the advertising on the page is interferring with the game just reload/refresh the page and it should go away.

Leaving Your Room 2

Leaving Your Room 2 is the logically named sequel to Leaving Your Room, although I would name this one "The 5 Billion Golden Keys". Soooo many keys. And not all easy to find this time. I almost broke my mouse point'n'clicking on the elephant level (and don't even get me started on the damn camel puzzle), and now I have finger cramps. *ouch*. Also be careful on the transporter. The wrong selection takes you back to the first game. Dammit [subbed & created by Renegade].

UPDATE: I've swapped the link for a new one, site bandwidth was exceeded on the last one!
