Hunting through the lazylaces archives for "terminalhouse" unearthed the following results...
Some lovely deadlines are keeping me super busy this week, but for those of you with more than a nano second of free time Neptune looks like a classy slice of point'n'clickery to me. Enjoy. I hope to see you on the deadline flip-side some time soon:) [subbed by Gordon].
Unless you've been lucky enough (sorry Jen) to hear my very own special rendition of "Beautiful Day" by U2 you'll be surprised to hear that up until now I've been a stranger to the recording studio. Hopefully Charisma can right this wrong... because my tone deaf singing ability certainly won't... [subbed by Cyberjar88 & easydiesel].
Boat House is a somewhat more futuristic point'n'click game than I was expecting from it's name. That's not a big deal though, although I am itching to find if the door makes that noise when I escape, you know the one [subbed by Mantari & Buji]. Note: To all the trekkies out there - yes, I know I used the "door closing noise" rather than the "door opening noise"...
Mix up some Egyptian hieroglyphics, a space station, some unusual machinery, a suspended animation pod, and some chilled out music, and you get a point'n'click game called Guest House. How you arrive at that name, from that mix, is anyone's guess, but that doesn't stop this being a great game both visually and puzzle-wise. And if you like this one check back on the other games in the series [subbed by Cornboy, roko, winniethepooh, avs5221, Flooor, hathia, WeePee & Angelblade].
Rental House is the point'n'click sequel to Terminal House and once again it's time to be careful at the beginning of the game. That's not a dead body on the floor, it's actually you in an unconscious daze, in that classic "what happened, where am I, I'm trapped in a room" scenario [subbed by f00].
From the beginning of the intro sequence at first I thought that Terminal House was going to be a point'n'click murder mystery. But then the "dead" body on the floor started to stir, and I realized that that body was meant to be us, the player, and the snippets of Japanese text on the screen must be telling me the, by now familiar tale, of: "where am I?", "my head hurts", "how do I get out of here?". Yes folks, it's time to escape another room [subbed by Mantari, Nicop, Nefretit, winniethepooh, czGeorge, Amanda, Teejay, MsInterpret, Kennymfk & Catraven].
