What's Hot (Top 10 Games)
We Love 'EmThe Lazylaces "What's Hot" list brings together the TOP 10 GAMES on the site as voted for by the site's community. To be eligible for inclusion on the list the game must have received at least 50 votes - this is to avoid new games jumping straight in at the bottom, or top, of the list. Currently there are a total of 1431 games eligible for the list, out of a total of 1926 posted on the site. The list is kept constantly up to date, and you should find something here you want to play, but if you disagree with any of the ratings why not vote yourself (see the rating link on every game)? So without further ado here's that TOP 10 list in full:

UPDATE: Suspicious block voting to manipulate game position can be tracked and will (and has been) removed. Please play fair.

The Invisible Beard Of Contemplation 2

The Invisible Beard Of Contemplation 2 brings puzzle fans another batch of brain bashing puzzles to pull their hair out over. You'll all be bald by the end of the week I promise you [subbed by JhInG, karstenmp & Cyberjar88].

Submachine 5: The Root

Submachine 5: The Root is the latest slice of point'n'click perfection from Murtaugh, giving us a tasty base of finely crafted puzzles, topped with beautiful and atmospheric graphics and sounds. All we need now is Daymare Town 2 to come out and Jen & I will be in point'n'click heaven... no resting now Murtaugh [subbed by Murtaugh, Heather, Higgo, deschain, JSY Shaggy, Casey Roebuck, karstenmp, Jas, Biggs, Toby, Stacey, Gemini, anon, Lady Lark & avs5221].

NOTE: There's an alternative link (if required).

Bowja The Ninja On Factory Island

In Bowja The Ninja On Factory Island you control Bowja The Ninja on his mission to destroy the Gi8000 (Randy the Robot), making this a game of point'n'click infiltration. It sounds like serious stuff, but the cute graphics lighten the mood, not to mention the fact that the evil henchmen sound like a cross between Kenny and Cartman [subbed and created by Robin].

The Invisible Beard Of Contemplation

The Invisible Beard Of Contemplation is a most excellent picture/general knowledge quiz with a most excellent name. What do we say everyone? Yes, that's right: excellent. Anyway, despite my gratuitous B & T references you'll need a little bit more than a knowledge of trashy films to complete this puzzler, which isn't a url changer, but you'll need a similar amount of googling (or a brain stamped XXL) to get thru it [subbed by JhInG].

DayMare Town

Having clearly learnt the art of never sleeping, and staying up 24 hours a day to design quality point'n'click games, it's no wonder Murtaugh finds himself stuck in DayMare Town (I'm assuming a DayMare is very much like a Nightmare, but, er, during the day), as he must be ultra tired. Anyway, DayMare Town, the latest slice of point'n'click excellent, comes hot on the heels of Covert Front Chapter 1 and the Submachine Series, and I have itchy point'n'click fingers just thinking about it, so I'm off to play now...

You've played Submachine, You've played Covert Front, now it's time for something completely new and unforeseen.

DayMare Town

Sketchy outline-only drawings give a stranger look to the game-play and create a bit of minimal atmosphere. Add creepy sounds and twisted story and you get the picture.

DMT is the hardest puzzle game I've made so far. It's really nasty, so be warned. It's for advanced pnc gamers. There is no cliffhanger at the end, but just try to get to that end.

[subbed and created by Murtaugh].

Meet In Ver.0

Don't even get me started on how busy I am and why I've been slack on the posts these last few days, rather than me tell you a whiny story, I'm sure you'd rather play some games and I've only got time to post a couple. So, first up is Meet In Ver.0, a game that involves mazes, yet somehow is still endearing (I don't normally like maze games). The goal is to re-unite the family thru the maze, in some rather unusual four-screen game play [subbed by Tom, ANONymous, Mantari & Castor].

Submachine 4: The Lab

Hot out of my inbox, so much so I've barely had time to open it, is news of Submachine 4: The Lab, from murtaugh, creator of the Submachine Series. Already I can see the sights and sounds are amazing, and I'm sure once we get into it, the point'n'click puzzles are going to be a killer once again. Now, excuse me, I need to go play, I suggest you join me, and in the meantime I'll leave you with murtaugh's game description:

"Submachine. The game in which with every puzzle solved, every chapter finished you fall deeper and deeper into mystery. Fourth chapter takes us to the heart of the submachine, the place where all questions will be finally answered. Or were finally answered. Once again it's time to ask youself - is it possible that you're too late? "

Fog Fall

Despite the featured post apocalyptic bad weather Fog Fall should brighten up your day, point'n'click-wise at least [subbed by f00].

Deep Chalk

With Deep Chalk I'm not sure if I'm playing a point'n'click game or immersing myself in a piece of modern art. And add in some Boards Of Canada esque 'music' and a few unusual controls (it's not just point'n'click) and you get something truly unusual, different and challenging, yet somehow serene. Nice. I can't wait to see what else the creator, Zack Stone, comes up with.
